I love these! I love scunci but I haven't seen these anywhere in my little podunk Texas town! I would choose purple because it is ny fav color or black because it goes with everything. I have very thick wavy hair. My tip is to try different easy ways to wear your hair. If I let it dry natural it has those nice beachy unkept waves that are so popular. And on the 2nd day if I want a more sleek look I flat iron it and I look completely different!

Recently, I received the new scünci flower bendi clip to review.  It is available in 3 sizes and comes in assorted colors:  black, blue, pink, ivory, turquoise, golden yellow, coral, purple and navy.  This is a great addition to your collection of hair accessories for everyday or for special occasions such as proms, weddings and nights out on the town.  I received the coral rose set below. 


To use the clip, start by gathering your hair in the desired style.  Slide the bendini comb into the hair, bend and snap it securely in place for an all-day hold.

The clips are available at Walmart, AAFES, CVS, Giant Eagle, Harmon, Rite Aid, Schnucks, Shopko, SuperValu, Walgreens, Weis, Winn-Dixie and other drug stores and mass market retailers for an average retail price of $4.99.

Now on to the giveaway!  One lucky reader will receive their own scünci flower bendi clip, all you have you do is leave a comment below on which clip you'd like to win along with your best tip for using hair accessories.  The giveaway is open to US residents from now until September 9th, 2012 at 12:00am EST. One entry per household, multiple entries will be disqualified.  The winner will be picked by my Daughter and announced within 48 hours.  You must be 18 years or older to enter or have your parents permission.  The prize will be sent to you by representatives of scünci.

    That coral one is very cute! I love using the no slip hair ties to put my hair up in a high ballerina bun, and then using a vintage style hair pin to tuck away the end and add a little flare to the look. Super easy, quick, and a timeless look!

    I so would want to win turquoise because it's my favorite! I like using clips like these as an accent along the side of my face. If I'm doing someone else's hair, I've used clips to hide their cowlick.

    If I could participate cause I live outside the USA I would choose the purple one in the promo cause is my fav color. I like the brand I have those clips small ones I use to leave my hair in position.

    Hiya. Luv the clips. Im a real girly girl. I luv all things nails,hair,clothes,shoes,etc. If only the pocket book loved them all as well ;). So my fave colors are pink and purple. My go to hair style is a messy bun with a flower clip on the side if the bun. My hair care tip is to not wash your hair everyday. It will strip your hair of natural oils.

    I would love the pink! My best hair tip is to use lots of conditioner and leave in conditioner! You can never have too much!

    I would love the Ivory my best hair tip is trim half inch every coupe of months and use natural shampoo if you cannot afford big brands go for baby ones

    i LOVE THE PINK VERY MUCH,AND IT WOULD GO GREAT WITH MY VINTAGE DRESSES!
    My best tip would be to sleep at night with a pillow cover made out of silk cause cotton soaks up all the moisture out of our hair to leave it dry.

I am back to blogging finally!  Thanks for all your patience through a very rough time in my life.  Back in July 2013, I flew to Las Vegas for Cosmoprof North America.  One of my favorite things to do after the show was to go shopping at The Forums Shops At Caesars .  One of the first shops I went into was Dior, I was hooked immediately.  I did not have any Dior Beauty products so I purchased my first polish, Psychedelic Orange and a lip pencil to match.  Since then, my Dior collection has increased by 2 or 3 more polishes and a Gel Top Coat which I love! Nfu-Oh Aqua Base...Worth it? Necessary?

Tonight I was doing swatches of some holographic polishes that I haven't tried yet. Nfu-Oh's, Essences from Europe and BK's from Hong Kong. And the question that keeps coming up, is the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base really necessary? Isn't there a cheaper easier to access brand available? I've seen this asked more than anything else recently and it even came up in our Nail Polish and Gossip Group on Facebook. I'm going to let you answer this question for yourself, here are pictures I took, all using Nfu-Oh #66 Green Holographic polish. On the first picture, on my thumb, middle and pinky finger, I used the Nfu-Oh Aqua base coat, on the ring and pointer finger I used another well known brand of base coat.
