Hi Everyone! I think I'm back to posting on a more consistent basis, thanks for sticking with me.  I have so many new and exciting products to show you and also some older ones that I think deserve a post too.  Let me know by commenting below what you would like to see, whether it's new nail polish brands, nail art, cosmetics, skin care, tips, tutorials, my favorite products or suggest something new that you haven't seen me do. The puppies are doing great and starting to go to their new homes and my health seems to be stable right now.  I've got some weight to lose and healthy eating habits that I need to follow.  I've gotten to the point that to where this really matters, it's been one of those AH HA moments (Paula Deen comes to mind). Hi Everyone, Just wanted to check in, I'm sure you've noticed I've slowed down on posting some.  Both my Husband and Daughter are/have been sick.  I over did it the past week or two with the puppies etc...and dealing with the consequences and now I feel that I'm getting sick. I really have been enjoying the September's subscription of Birchbox .  I have tried all the products except the Green Tea which I'm not a big fan of anyway, but eventually I'll get around to it.   I love the Color Club/Birchbox custom mini (4 to choose from) Status Update, it is a perfect fall color, a dark gray with a purplish tint.  I'll do a separate post with it.  The Youngblood Makeup Primer worked well, my makeup had great staying power.  The Benefit Foaming Cleanser and Refined Finish were nice, but basically one time use samples for skincare are pretty useless.  In other words Birchbox, if you are listening, please send larger samples of skin care if you want us to buy them!  I gave my 19 year old daughter the Nexxus samples, she loves to take them along with her on overnight trips and she loves their products.  Last but not least, who would of ever thought I would fall in love with a twistband?  Well I have!  This is ...

Tonight, I am bringing you Part 1 of Color Clubs In True Fashion Fall 2012 Nail Polish Collection. I have to say I am in total love with the majority of the 12 polishes.  I wore Port-Folio last week to my visit to the Optometrist and I just happened to have on a peacock patterned blouse which totally matched.  I had so many compliments, even from the Doctor.  I used 2 coats of polish in most of the swatches, there were one or two that I used a third coat, but I had no problem with doing that, application was easy.  I did use a top coat of Seche Vite for each swatch. I'm a little late on posting my September Julep Maven Box , and you can see part of the reason why in my 2nd picture.  In September, Julep offered the entire monthly collection of polishes & products (10 polishes and 2 mascaras) for each profile for an additional $30.  That is only the retail price of two polishes, so of course I jumped on it.  As always, Julep nicely wraps each product nicely and includes little extra's now and then, this month it was a magnet.  Now as to the reason I've been so busy!  Isn't he just cute?  He and his 6 brothers! As much as I love blogging about nail polish, makeup, skin care and other beauty and fashion related things...I have been cheating lately with my other love.  If you didn't know, we are the proud owners of 8 Havanese.  And on August 24, 2012, Chloe & Oreo had a litter of 7 males....YES 7 boys!  They are full of mischief and one myth which I find is true, is that boys are more loving (need more love and attention) than girls in this breed.  Do I have my hands full?  Yes I do, and loving every minute of it.  Sometimes I wonder how my nails survive puppies, sometimes they don't.  Bathing 7 long haired puppies, sometimes daily if needed, grooming, feeding and showing each one as much love as I can does a lot of damage to your hands, nails and cuticles.  I wash my hands so much that I go through bottles of hand cream and cuticle oil during this time.
