Midnight Manicures One Year Blog Anniversary Giveaway!

Hi Folks!  Just as promised, my One Year Blog Anniversary Giveaway!  My blog anniversary is actually Mother's Day, but I wanted to be able to get the prizes to the winners by then if possible. This would not have been possible without some generous Companies and Friends, Thank You all!  This contest will run from April 1, 2012, 12:00am EST to May 1, 2012, 12:00am.  There will be 10 winners, please remember to list in order on the Rafflecopter form in which order if you are a winner, you would like to receive.  


Open internationally if allowed to ship prizes to that country.  28 entries available per person (except on the twitter and facebook daily option for additional entries).  If multiple entries are received, you will be disqualified.  Winners must answer emails with shipping address within 48 hours or new winners will be picked.

    I just wanted to mention that it appears there is something wrong with the Mystique Nails FB link. It gives an error message when I open that specific Rafflecopter task. I tried to search for Mystique Nails on FB as well, but it actually brought up a number of pages, so I had no idea which one was associated with you/your giveaway. Just wanted to let you know!

    Domestic Goddess polishes-I would probably wear Algae most. I really want to like the yellow, but something about it strikes me wrong. I have seen quite a few with the black glitter lately and get that feeling from all of them, so that must be my problem-ANOTHER Bottle Of Polish?! had one I can think of immediately.
    But the idea is good and overall, buyable.

Hi Everyone! I am back to blogging finally!  Thanks for all your patience through a very rough time in my life.  Back in July 2013, I flew to Las Vegas for Cosmoprof North America.  One of my favorite things to do after the show was to go shopping at The Forums Shops At Caesars .  One of the first shops I went into was Dior, I was hooked immediately.  I did not have any Dior Beauty products so I purchased my first polish, Psychedelic Orange and a lip pencil to match.  Since then, my Dior collection has increased by 2 or 3 more polishes and a Gel Top Coat which I love! I chose today to finally show you this polish because a group of bloggers are linking together for Dior Day Blogger Linkup.  Psychedelic Orange is almost a jellish cream polish.  I used 3 coats above and you can still see a little VNL, but this doesn't bother me one bit.  Even though it didn't need it I did top it with one coat of the Dior Gel Coat, which is my favorite top coat...

Nfu-Oh Aqua Base...Worth it? Necessary?

Tonight I was doing swatches of some holographic polishes that I haven't tried yet. Nfu-Oh's, Essences from Europe and BK's from Hong Kong. And the question that keeps coming up, is the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base really necessary? Isn't there a cheaper easier to access brand available? I've seen this asked more than anything else recently and it even came up in our Nail Polish and Gossip Group on Facebook. I'm going to let you answer this question for yourself, here are pictures I took, all using Nfu-Oh #66 Green Holographic polish. On the first picture, on my thumb, middle and pinky finger, I used the Nfu-Oh Aqua base coat, on the ring and pointer finger I used another well known brand of base coat.
