Halloween French Tip Manicure with Orange and Black Polishes

Tonight's manicure is a French Tip manicure using OPI's Y'all Come Back Ya Hear, Wet N Wilds Halloween Fantasy Makers Creepy Pumpkin and Black Magic.  I used 2 coats of the Fantasy Makers Creepy Pumpkin layered over 2 coats of OPI's Y'all Come Back Ya Hear.  Both being Jelly Based, I could still see my nail tips (VNL = Visible Nail Line), so that's when I came up with doing the tips with the Fantasy Makers Black Magic, it's hard to see the glitter in the black, but it's there.  I used regular tape to do the tips.  I topped everything with 2 coats of Seche Vite.






I am really loving all the Holiday themed nail polish that I am finding and mixing it up with my regular polishes.     for once I have all thee polishes! That means I can copy you without having to go buy anything! YAY!!! Beautiful job btw. My fav color is orange! And the jelly sandwich looks so squishy!

    Creepy Pumpkin is GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!! Especially layered over the other orange!

    I really enjoyed this mani very much. I didn't realize the OPI was a jelly when I picked it out, but all those layers of Jelly gave it a lot of depth!

Hi Everyone! Nfu-Oh Aqua Base...Worth it? Necessary?

Tonight I was doing swatches of some holographic polishes that I haven't tried yet. Nfu-Oh's, Essences from Europe and BK's from Hong Kong. And the question that keeps coming up, is the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base really necessary? Isn't there a cheaper easier to access brand available? I've seen this asked more than anything else recently and it even came up in our Nail Polish and Gossip Group on Facebook. I'm going to let you answer this question for yourself, here are pictures I took, all using Nfu-Oh #66 Green Holographic polish. On the first picture, on my thumb, middle and pinky finger, I used the Nfu-Oh Aqua base coat, on the ring and pointer finger I used another well known brand of base coat.
