Barielle's Polished Princess

Tonight I am bringing you another one of my favorite polishes from Barielle.  This is Polished Princess...I know the name screams pink or purple, but it's actually green!  Barielle describes this polish as a safari green with a copper shimmer.  All I know is...I love it :)  I used a base coat, 2 coats of color and a top coat and it went on very smooth.

    You're nails are shaped so beautifully! Nice swatch! I've never heard of this brand, but it's pretty and good for fall.

    What a pretty green! Elle's Spell and Outgreygous are the only Barielles I have.

    Their color spots, you really have to just wing it and hope for the best! Plus they take so darn long to ship. But the deals are great on their color line...and they often have a 50% off or 30% off the entire line. My fav shades right now are Secrete Encounter & Positive Zen-ergy. I have an order in route right now that has a 2nd bottle of Ellie's Spell in it - don't want to suddenly find they pulled it from the line like they do from time to time. I use their nail strengthening cream every night with their Intensive Nail Renewal Oil over that & my nails have never been this long or strong! They look so healthy and I get no staining anymore from darker polish shades - I think because my nails are so well hydrated. Both products I highly recommend and I have tried a ton of 'em out there for a good 30 yrs!

Hi Everyone! I am back to blogging finally!  Thanks for all your patience through a very rough time in my life.  Back in July 2013, I flew to Las Vegas for Cosmoprof North America.  One of my favorite things to do after the show was to go shopping at The Forums Shops At Caesars .  One of the first shops I went into was Dior, I was hooked immediately.  I did not have any Dior Beauty products so I purchased my first polish, Psychedelic Orange and a lip pencil to match.  Since then, my Dior collection has increased by 2 or 3 more polishes and a Gel Top Coat which I love! Nfu-Oh Aqua Base...Worth it? Necessary?

Tonight I was doing swatches of some holographic polishes that I haven't tried yet. Nfu-Oh's, Essences from Europe and BK's from Hong Kong. And the question that keeps coming up, is the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base really necessary? Isn't there a cheaper easier to access brand available? I've seen this asked more than anything else recently and it even came up in our Nail Polish and Gossip Group on Facebook. I'm going to let you answer this question for yourself, here are pictures I took, all using Nfu-Oh #66 Green Holographic polish. On the first picture, on my thumb, middle and pinky finger, I used the Nfu-Oh Aqua base coat, on the ring and pointer finger I used another well known brand of base coat.
